Married....with milk??
We have been married for 5 days now and each day is a new adventure. Starting with moving two families of four into one house and being a family of eight. Not surprising, the food it takes to keep the house running is phenomenal. Thank goodness we have two refrigerators so that we can stock up on milk and such. It saves us from daily store runs!!

Super important post!!!!!

Last night....ahhhh...where to start? Tim and I had a date night planned. We went out to eat at Larkspur and had tickets to see Les Miserables. I was pretty excited because I really wanted to see the play. We arrived at Century 2 and took our seats. (In the front row!) The teen choir from the music theater sang a couple of selections from the upcoming season. And then it happened....
The director of music theater took the stage. He made some general announcements regarding future shows and then made an announcement regarding a raffle. He then said that they had drawn for a door prize and asked the person seated in C4 to come forward to claim their prize. I was reading the program at the time and was barely listening. Tim said..."I am in seat C4" and I muttered something about being a lucky guy. He took the box and it was shaped somewhat like a box that you would put a coffee cup in and the director instructed him to open it. I start paying attention at this time because I was mildly curious. As Tim opened the box I could see an open ring box in the bigger box and realized that it was a diamond ring. Of course I immediately started bawling and he got down on his knee and proposed. It was somewhat of a blur but I did notice that the director in the orchestra pit had a camera and was taking pictures. I also remember the music theater director saying to enjoy the moment since that was going to be the happiest point of the evening considering it was a pretty depressing play!
I found out later that it was Tim's camera and that he had set everything up with the staff/cast during the week! This is why I have pictures to add!
Later when we got home I told Dominic and Felicia because they were still up. Dominic starting crying he was so happy. Felicia was dancing around like a dork. This morning when I told Robert he smiled a huge smile and said "congratulations" paused and then said "good job" Not sure what that meant but he was happy. The other kids found out at enrollment this morning (thanks Anna) and they are all happy too!!!!
I am getting married to the best man in the whole world...I am so, so happy I can't even put it into words!!!!

Surprise!
Alas...I am blogging. I am going to keep it short due to the fact that we are hosting Dom's birthday party and it is rather noisy in my house. There are only four of them, Dom, two cousins, and my boyfriend's son but they manage to be quite loud. They like to play guitar hero and jam out to Green Day and talk on the phone to girls. Ahhhh.....to be 12/13 again!
Times have been busy though I haven't put much effort into my home improvements lately. Summer has inspired me to spend all of my time at the lake. Fall will be here soon enough and winter will be close behind. Plently of time to work around the house!!

Adventures in Home Improvement
Lacking anything better to do with my life and with a burning desire to move in the near future I have set out to fix up my house. This started in January when I took my Christmas tree down. It started so small with the thought to rearrange my living room. Of course I couldn't without replacing my entertainment center. (It was 14 years old and to rickety to move)I bought a new tv stand and assembled it and moved the tv. I looked around and decided that wasn't enough...oh yes, let's buy a new desk and move the computer too...and some new end tables.. (with some help from Robert....I knew I bought him a tool set for Christmas for a reason) Fast forward a few weeks to this weekend...I paint!! Only I couldn't just paint the living room...I had to decide to repair the walls too. And now on Monday evening I am lying in bed with a horrible sore throat, a fever of over 100 and a half finished living room. One wall and the hallway painted and lots a spackling everywhere else. It looks like the walls have the chicken pox and I want sleep...*sigh* I guess it's not going anywhere!!!!
